DR. ADRIENNE LEVASSEUR
Raised in Ottawa, Dr. LeVasseur completed her Bachelor of Science (Life Sciences with research subspecialty: Neuroscience) at Queens University. Her research at Queen’s examined the neurological control of eye movements. She then completed her Doctor of Optometry at the University of Waterloo. She has since furthered her education in Binocular Vision and Vision Therapy with the College of Optometrists in Vision Development.
Adrienne has worked as an optometrist in private practice since 2004, helping people of all ages maximize their visual experience and eye health. She is an active member of the Alberta Association of Optometrists and has served as a member of the Canadian Examiners in Optometry. She has volunteered to provide eye care for underprivileged populations in the Philippines, Mexico, Costa Rica, and at the CUPS clinic in Calgary. She offers eye examinations in English, French, and Spanish.
Some of Adrienne’s other life interests have included swimming, dance, and fitness. She is thrilled to combine this interest in teaching with her passion for excellent vision, through Vision Therapy. At Mayfair Eye Care, she has the necessary resources to offer more extensive vision therapy programs to people who need them.
