It’s holiday time, and you are packing your suitcase.  What should you take for your eye care and eyewear?

Worried about keeping your glasses clean on the airplane, but not wanting to take along any liquids? Consider purchasing a Peeps Eyeglass Cleaner.  This is a new device that cleans all type of glasses. The carbon microfiber technology keeps the coating intact and is also great for cleaning those annoying oily finger prints.

Our friendly staff at Mayfair Eye Care would be pleased to provide you with several replacement screws and nose pads for your frame.  Just don’t forget to take a small screwdriver along with your kit.

If you love to snorkel or scuba dive, ask Dr. Penny or Dr Cornelson about daily disposable contact lenses.  You can use them for your dive, then discard the lens.  Easy care with no hassles!  “Clear Care” contact lens solution also is an excellent disinfectant for coral scrapes and cuts.

You should also consider how you are going to keep your eyes healthy.  Use individual eye wipes to remove makeup and oily suntan lotion.  Take a preserved artificial tear along to rinse your eyes in case you get sometime in them.

Be prepared and have a wonderful holiday!
